Who I Am
I’ve always had a fascination for superheroes.
I’ll never be Superman, leaping over tall buildings in a single bound. The powers aren’t what make the superhero though – it’s the virtues. The passion, the leadership, the service to others. Doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.
Superheroes always start with an “origin” where they discover themselves. Thankfully mine didn’t start with tragedy, instead it’s been a journey of self-discovery.
With my first real job, I discovered the value of being in the service of others. Many years later, it has become my mission in life. I have the opportunity to be the best I can be when I’m helping others.
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
I’ve always gotten a thrill from building things. It can be as simple as a sandcastle with my family, or as complex as rescuing a failing project for a client. The thrill has led me to taking on roles ranging from parachute-in-problem-solver to entrepreneur to CIO/CTO; helping more than 60 companies be more successful.
My focus is on developing the scalable foundation your business can leverage to grow and achieve its goals. I do this through a combination of building the right processes (process improvement), finding and implementing the right technology tools (technology), and driving project success (project leadership and execution).
